16 paintings by F. E. Clark, 2016 - One Foot at a Time series.

Summer 2016 - here we are at the end of May, and I am quietly pleased to have completed the 16 paintings above, as part of my One Foot at a Time series.  I began these paintings back in February, wanting to spend more time on each painting and make larger pieces.  The 16 paintings are all acrylic and 12 inches square.  I have experimented a little with wood panels, canvas board and latterly Ampersand panels - which I have enjoyed working with, and have the added advantage of being ready to hang.

The 16 paintings can be viewed in more detail, here on my website.  Rose Madder Moon, Burn, Bare Earth Moon and Sun-Scar-Star, have all been claimed, the rest are available directly from me - enquiries welcome.

I am very proud to have my painting 'Bare Earth Moon' on the cover of Causeway/Cabhsair's May issue - the magazine is published by Aberdeen University.

Most of my paintings are available directly from me, but I do still have a small amount of my older paintings in an Etsy shop - delighted that the four wee paintings above have gone off to a new home this month.

Hat Status:  it is the season where I it is quite possible that I might wear each of my hats during the course of one single day.

Writing Status:  I continue to write and submit work.  I have had short listings for the Retreat West short story competition, and A3 Review's  May contest, and I was delighted to win a 5K word crit with my tweets to London Lit Lab.

Reading Status:  the tower of lovely books, waiting by my bedside to be read, has reached epic proportions - a summer project, perhaps...

Painting Status:  calibrating.

Wildcard Status:  shhhhhhh it's a secret!
