Rose Madder Moon, is the second of my larger paintings - which I am hoping to be making once a week. I am already behind with this self-imposed goal - it is taking a while for me to adjust to this new schedule.
I always come back to painting the full moon. It is shining bright white in the sky as I write this - not a hint of rose, but I felt the need for some warm colour this month.
TWITTER ART EXHIBITION - After asking folk, via my social media pages, which of three paintings they though I should send to this year's Twitter Art Exhibition, my wee postcard 'Blue Moon Blooms' is now on its way to the Trygve Lie Gallery in New York. Thanks to all who commented and helped me decide. This is the 3rd year that I have participated in this exhibition. It is open to artists of all levels, and raises funds for a different cause every year. This year - Foster Pride's Handmade Program will be the recipient. |

You can find links to purchase both the print and e-book copies of the anthology here. All royalties are to go to The Book Bus charity - whose mission is 'improving children's lives one book at at time'.
If you would like to go into the draw to win this anthology - please leave a comment on this blog, below - you have until my next blog post comes out.....so, at least a week!
