We started off in fog and rain, which magically cleared as we headed North-West. The Inchmore Gallery is located West of Inverness, a converted church - clear white light streams into it's galleries and it felt good to leave some of my work there - I do hope people like it. The exhibition runs from the 2nd of November, to the 11th of January - the four paintings on this page are all for sale, see Inchmore Gallery website for opening times.
On the way home we had a lovely walk along the Caledonian Canal at Bunchcrew, coffee and cake in Inverness and a moonlit walk to the beach at Findhorn - we didn't drive all night either, but it was very late when we returned home. Well worth a road trip!
Other news this week: one of my short pieces of writing has been published in A Handful of Stones blogzine on the 20th of October, particularly nice as it was the first 'small stone' (short piece of observational writing) that I had ever written - composed on the 1st January, 2013 - a lovely honour.
