Creatives who are not 'doing their thing' are often miserable creatures - stand clear!
I have had times when I write 'Morning Pages' religiously for months - these help a little (go look up Julia Cameron) - 3 pages, handwritten, stream of consciousness - mine are lists, working out of things, randomness, sparks. Morning pages require a little energy to get going though - if you can't face writing them in the morning, do when you can during the day - make your own rules.
These past few weeks been particularly difficult - I have been, frustrated, stuck, worried. So I have restarted the writing of Morning Pages, and 'playing with paint' in a space I have 'borrowed'. It is intermittent - I am not there yet, rusty and shambling I am moving though. I have no finished work from this time but here are some close ups - click on images to enlarge:

READING STATUS: My eyes hurt.
HAT STATUS: The Sun Hat has made an appearance!
ENERGY STATUS: Not the best, try again tomorrow.
