I begin my residency at the Oil and Glass Gallery in Aberdeen tomorrow.
Time has flown since I heard that the residency was going ahead. Here in Scotland we are not quite in autumn yet, not quite still summer. The schools are back in session, back to school stationary is marked down. New term, new start; and instead of a new pencil case I now have my first ever cards with my name on - I have actually dared to call myself an artist ........shhhhhhhh.
Sketchbook, notebook, pens, camera, paint, paintbrushes....... organising what I will need, despite the tornado of butterflies which is raging inside me...........can't wait!
