I have felt frustrated at the lack of painting time and by my need to experiment my way into finished pieces of work - lovely when I have unlimited time, not so fun when there are limits. This quote from Nelson Mandela really sums up how I feel resolving paintings sometimes - 'It only seems impossible until it is done'.
My adventures in cyberland continue - and I am finding they are taking up a lot of time - this week I have wavered - imagining stopping the whole thing - then my very favourite musician/songwriter reblogged one of my paintings.................... and I am stunned and delighted that something I make can be seen by such people, let alone liked.
On Twitter it is possible to sign up to a company that runs your account for you - it is called unfollow - it would save a lot of time, but seems ridiculous and every time I get a message via unfollow - well - I have done just that.
'Blue Moon Fades', above, is my trade for December - with my tumblr friend Fadeproof. I shall be asking if anyone would like to be my trade partner for January. The idea is - we make something for each other and swap if we like, if anyone is interested click here to get in touch (don't have to be on any social networks to do this!).
