Wishing YOU Well
I am not much into sending Christmas cards any more; but A New Year card - this is something I can feel excited about - wishes of all the best in the coming year to all. So, here above, is my New Start Moon, 2016. I had wanted to make a new lino cut design for this year's card, but there was no time. Perhaps I shall print a rainbow of years before there is time again.
PAINTING - after painting daily in October and November, I have not painted much this December, and find myself rather out of energy and in need of a time to think.
WRITING - a few months ago, I began another page on this website, for my writing - you can find it here. As with this page, you can enter your email address in the box on the right hand side of the blog, and receive posts via email as I write them. I have just written a bit of a catch up piece there, which includes a link to me being interviewed as part of the flash fiction community on-line.
Lovely to see, below, three of my wee daily paintings up on the wall at Moniack Mhor Writers' Centre near Inverness. I attended their Novel Writing workshop there this past June - you can read my blog post about that adventure here.
PAINTING STATUS: Storm force to AWOL
WRITING STATUS: If I stick 1001 flash pieces together...will I have my novel? No, thought not...
WILDCARD STATUS: In October, I completed the Couch to 5K challenge. Hoping I do not have to start this from the beginning, after having a wee break...
READING STATUS: There is a lovely stack of gorgeous books developing by my bed.
ENERGY STATUS: Needs a re-think.
Thanks to everyone who reads this blog.
Wishing a fabulous 2016 to all.
